You can get feathers from quails and turkeys starting from level 7, just make sure to give them plenty of bird feed. Remember, you can make bird feed at the Mill. Don't worry if you do not get feathers right away, just keep your birds well fed and in time they’ll produce everything you need.
Feathers will be useful for many things including fulfilling Dragôn Mysterium requests, fixing the Swing, upgrading the Stone Poem, building the Star Beacon, and making a dreamcatcher at the Loom.
