Completing quests is the key to progressing through the game in terms of both the story and building your perfect island paradise.
Your active quests will appear on the left side of your screen. They do not expire, but will become unavailable if the location where the quest takes place closes. For example, quests on Event Islands cannot be completed after the event ends.
Make sure you keep up with quests and do not let them pile up – completing them is essential to lots of activities such as unlocking new areas on Home Island and on some on Archipelago Islands, and upgrading buildings. Many quests start with a dialogue that contains important information, so be sure to read them carefully!
To complete certain quests you will need crafted items. Note that crafted items can sometimes be in special sacks that appear if you do not have enough space in your storage. Sometimes, a sack can be hidden behind various resources such as trees or bushes, and you will need to clear a path if you want to get to it.
