In short – yes! Resources on Home Island automatically regenerate. So even if you cut down all the trees, collect all the grass, and pick up all the shells on Home Island, new resources will appear within a few hours.
But there is a condition: in order for resources to regenerate, there must be some free space. So make sure when you place objects or buildings on Home Island, you do so in such a way that there is enough space between them for new resources to appear.
Keep in mind that new resources will regenerate in the various zones of Home Island as soon as you open the zone and clear away all the existing resources. For example, if you have opened a new area of Home Island, new bushes won't start to generate until you have cut down all the bushes which are already there.
