In the beginning, Palindrome was empty.
It was the Dragôns that came first to begin the foundation of the Gaias. Their magic spread through the land allowing the first Origin Elves to be born.
These first elves experienced ten different emotions that formed the Gaias.
Since then, all Palin Elves are born into a certain Gaia, and are referred to as such: Star Elf, Sea Elf, Forest Elf, etc.
Each of the ten Gaias has always had a Sacred Elf who acts as the “Mother Nature” of their Gaia.
Sacred Elves possess a deep emotional connection to their Gaia known as the “Bond”.
The Bond gives natural magical abilities to the Sacred Elves so they can look after the delicate balance of Palindrome’s biological and spiritual essence.
A Habitual Elf is a term for the normal, non-Sacred Elf population of Palindrome.
While Sacred Elves are the keystones of their Gaias and their communities, Habitual Elves have their own special relationship with their Gaia. They may not possess the Bond, but Habitual Elves have specific hobbies that, when performed, show their Gaia love.
For example, Sun Elves love to dance, and when they dance, the Sun responds! It shines brighter, helping the Gaia flourish.
All Elves have Affinities, which are links to Palindrome that help them stay healthy and connected. Sacred and Habitual Elves both have a Lunar Affinity, which connects them to their Gaia's moon, and a Gaia Affinity, which connects them to their rightful Gaia.
Sacred Elves have three additional affinities which create their connection with the Bond and, by extension, with their Gaia’s spirits, animals, environment, and energy.
