There are so many exciting islands to visit that it’s worth diving in a little deeper to see how they all work.
🏝 First, let’s look at Home Island, which is where the humans – Sloane, Ava, and Bastian – first arrive. And don’t forget they’re joined by their canine friend Waffle!
On Home Island you will meet elves for the first time, and it is also where you can construct buildings and storage containers, cook meals, find resources, and craft items.Home Island is where you can complete orders from the Merchant and fulfill requests at the Dragôn Mysterium.
There are several parts to Home Island that will open up as you progress through the game, and it is also from where you will make your first trip on the airship to an Archipelago Island.
The main tip we can give you for Home Island is to make sure you upgrade the buildings. This will help you unlock access to Archipelago Islands for more adventures and stories!
🏜 Speaking of Archipelago Islands, keep in mind that some of them – especially the ones you visit early on – are closely entwined with Home Island. Completing quests on these islands will open up new opportunities for you on Home Island, such as allowing you to make more building upgrades or unlocking another part of the story.
Remember that many Archipelago Islands will close after you play them through, and cannot be revisited. Therefore, before you finish all of an Archipelago Island’s quests, make sure you have collected as many resources from the island as possible (including in containers), especially if you need them to progress on Home Island.
🌋Finally, we have Event Islands. These are time-limited – and typically only open for 96 hours. On Event Islands you will need to collect resources and complete quests like on other islands, but you will also find many hidden gifts, decorations, and generators that you will need to take back to Home Island.
You can travel to Event Islands as many times as you like when they are open, so be sure to explore them as fully as possible!
